A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Butte-Meade Sanitary Water District was held at the District Office on June 8, 2022 at 8:00 a.m., led by the Pledge of Allegiance.  The meeting was called to order by President of the Board, Bob Lewis at 8:00 a.m.

Unless otherwise noted, all Board action was by unanimous decision.

Members Present: Bob Lewis, Gary Velder, Penny Oedekoven, Richard Harmon, Judy Heisler, Don Hunt and Dallas Conner.  

Motion by Bob Lewis, second Penny Oedekoven to adopt the agenda, motion carried.

The Minutes of the regular May 11, 2022 meeting were read and approved on a motion by Penny Oedekoven and second by Gary Velder.  Motion carried. 

The Treasurer’s Report and bills were approved on a motion by Judy Heisler, second Richard Harmon.  Motion carried.

Old Business: None this month.

New Business:

• Appointment of new trustees – Oath was given to Penny Oedekoven & Gary Velder.

Manager Report:

      Office Update :

• Mike will get ahold of Bob when he returns from vacation to start employee reviews.
• Kim & CharLee have been going thru the meter deposits.  They have a list that need to be refunded.  This will happen in the next few months.
• In person office training for Banyon took place.  Questions were answered and a few things were fixed in the software.
• Office procedures are being reviewed and updated.  A few things will be changing in the next few months.
• The rate schedule has been updated & will be printed out.  Schedules will be sent to those affected.

District Update:

• Vale Well AC unit is being fixed.
• A public meeting will be scheduled for the new well location.  The board will be notified as soon as it is scheduled.
• Landowners are happy with placement will new well location.  
• Paperwork is being completed and the new well funding will go to the state in July.
• Several new taps have been installed in the past month and there are several more to do.
• There was a complaint on Hope Road.  Mike, Don & Todd have been working to get the road smoothed out.
• Reid Well contact is out.
• Don is scheduled for surgery on June 29.
